Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that the goal of the government is to ensure that every household in the state has access to an Artificial Intelligence (AI) professional. He stated that AI technology should be widely adopted across the state to improve efficiency and service delivery.

During a review meeting on the ART&GS (Andhra Pradesh Real-Time Governance System) on Monday, the Chief Minister highlighted that while the state once took pride in leading in IT, adopting AI on a large scale would bring outstanding results. He stressed the importance of using technology to improve government functioning and provide better services to the public.

He further mentioned that ART&GS would help analyze government schemes and programs in real time, identifying any gaps and proposing solutions. He instructed all government departments to work towards a 15-20% growth target by using technology efficiently.

The government’s collaboration with Google aims to integrate data from various departments through ART&GS, enabling AI-driven insights for improved governance. Additionally, CM Naidu announced that “WhatsApp Governance” services would soon be launched, allowing citizens to obtain important documents such as death and birth certificates through WhatsApp. However, he cautioned that such services should be conducted in a transparent manner to avoid any misunderstandings.

K. Dinesh Kumar, the CEO of ART&GS, also spoke at the meeting, explaining that the integration of data from 40 government departments is underway, and a unique profile is being created for each village based on the collected data. He further added that data for 1.69 crore households in the state has been collected, with geotagging of government assets progressing swiftly.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including K. Vijay Anand, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, and other prominent figures from the Revenue, Health, and Urban Development departments.
