The Food Safety Department has revoked the license of the Central Kitchen associated with Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions located in Madhapur. This action follows an unexpected inspection by Food Safety officers, who identified significant issues at the kitchen.
The inspection revealed that the kitchen, which supplies food to hostels of Chaitanya Colleges across Greater Hyderabad, was operating under unhygienic conditions. Officials were particularly concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen, which is responsible for preparing meals for thousands of students. Furthermore, the officers discovered that expired and spoiled food items were being stored in the kitchen.
In response to these findings, the Food Safety Department has issued an order to revoke the kitchen’s license, with immediate effect. This action underscores the department’s commitment to ensuring food safety standards and the well-being of consumers.
