Minister for Housing and Information & Public Relations, Kolusu Parthasaradhi, praised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for transforming Andhra Pradesh into a ‘Brand AP’ within just seven months of taking office. He highlighted that during this time, the state attracted over ₹5 lakh crore in investments and created job opportunities for 40,000 youth.
In a press conference held at the Telugu Desam Party office in Nuzividu on Monday, Minister Parthasaradhi said that CM Naidu’s determination has positioned Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of both the agriculture and industrial sectors. He also noted the success of CM Naidu’s visit to Davos, where he and state ministers received a red carpet welcome, promoting the state’s industrial policies. The visit led to increased interest from industrialists in investing in Andhra Pradesh.
Parthasaradhi pointed out that while Chief Minister Naidu has successfully secured over ₹11.4 lakh crore in investments between 2014-2019, the previous YSRCP government had caused industrialists to leave the state due to fear and uncertainty. He also praised Minister Nara Lokesh’s ‘Yuvagalam’ foot march, which, according to him, played a key role in ensuring the overwhelming success of the coalition government.
