3rd Telangana Police Sports Meet Inaugurated in Karimnagar

The 3rd Telangana State Police Sports Meet was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Karimnagar Police Commissionerate’s Parade Ground. DGP B. Shivadhar Reddy, the chief guest, lit the sports torch and unveiled the event’s new logo and flag. He praised the Karimnagar Police Commissioner Abhishek Mohanti for organizing the event and emphasized the role of sports in overcoming stress and enhancing physical fitness among police personnel.
Over 2400 participants from 20 zones are competing in 28 sports events. IGP Ramesh Reddy noted this is the first time in eight years that the meet is being held in Karimnagar. The event was attended by various top police officials, including Ramanagundam Police Commissioner Srinivasulu, Sircilla SP Akhil Mahajan, and Jagityala SP Ashok.
