ACB Raids Metpally Sub-Registrar Office: Employee Caught Accepting Bribe

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids at the Metpally Sub-Registrar office, apprehending outsourced employee Ravi while accepting a bribe of ₹5,000. The incident unfolded when Sunk Vishnu, a resident of Thimmapur village in Ibrahimpatnam mandal, approached Sub-Registrar Asifuddin to mortgage his land.
Ravi initially demanded ₹10,000 to process the land mortgage but later settled for ₹5,000 after negotiations. While accepting the bribe, Ravi was caught red-handed by ACB officials.
The ACB has filed cases against Sub-Registrar Asifuddin, outsourced employee Ravi, and document writer Ravi. An investigation into the matter is underway, ACB officials confirmed.
