Welfare Schemes Flourishing Under Congress Governance: Sirpur Assembly In-Charge Ravi Srinivas

Deccan Freedom News, Sirpur, November 25:

The Congress government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has ensured welfare schemes reach all citizens, said Sirpur Assembly In-Charge Ravi Srinivas. Speaking in a statement, he highlighted key achievements and ongoing initiatives aimed at public welfare.

Over the past year, schemes such as free bus travel for women, the ‘Gruha Jyoti’ initiative providing gas cylinders and zero electricity bills, have significantly benefited citizens. Srinivas acknowledged some delays in fully implementing farm loan waivers but assured progress. He noted that nearly 600 government jobs were filled in the district during the Congress regime.

In Sirpur constituency alone, ₹4 crore from SDF funds has been allocated for CC roads, ₹2 crore for borewells, and ₹2.5 crore for upgrading government schools under the Amma Aadarsha Pathashala scheme. Additionally, eligible families will soon receive houses under the Indiramma Committees initiative.

As part of the one-year celebrations of Congress governance, ₹15 crore is being released for CC roads and drainage construction in villages under Panchayati Raj and Rural Development schemes. Srinivas urged Congress leaders and workers to collaborate with Mandal MPDOs and submit proposals for development projects in their respective villages to ensure comprehensive progress.
