“Madiga Students Youth Uprising” Public Meeting on February 2 at Osmania University

A grand public meeting titled “Madiga Students Youth Uprising” will be held at Osmania University on February 2, under the leadership of Dr. Pidamarthi Ravi, former Chairman of the Telangana State SC Corporation and founder of the Madiga JAC. The main demands of the meeting are to secure 12% reservation for Madigas based on population and district-wise SC categorization.
Dr. Ravi, along with Madiga students and youth from across Telangana, has called for a successful event where participants are urged to bring a photo of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in one hand and the Indian Constitution in the other. The event will take place at the Arts College grounds of Osmania University, and the organizers are expecting a large turnout.
Madiga JAC’s Karimnagar district in-charge and Jagityal district president, Medapatla Dubbaiah, urged all Madiga students and youth to join the meeting, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective action in achieving the demands of the community. He highlighted that this gathering is crucial for advancing the rights and welfare of the Madiga community and ensuring that their voice is heard loud and clear in Telangana.
The public meeting will be a significant step towards fulfilling the long-standing demands for social justice, educational empowerment, and political representation for the Madiga community in Telangana.
