Rajanna Sircilla: District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha and Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan emphasized that sports help strengthen friendships and camaraderie. They were speaking at the inauguration of the district-level CM Cup games held on Wednesday, following the successful completion of village and mandal-level competitions.

The Collector and SP jointly lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the event and interacted with the athletes. They also participated in a volleyball match, boosting the morale of the players. Speaking on the occasion, they said that the district administration is committed to identifying talent from rural and urban areas and grooming athletes to excel at national and international competitions.

The event witnessed the participation of District Library Chairman Nagula Satyanarayana, Sircilla Market Committee Chairperson Swaroopa Reddy, District Youth and Sports Officer Ramdas, Sircilla Municipal Commissioner Lavanya, SGF Secretary, and both government and private physical education teachers. Their presence added to the enthusiasm of the event, marking a significant step in promoting sports in the district.
