Former MLA Kancherla Bhupal Reddy and other leaders addressed a press conference at his camp office in Nalgonda, where they discussed the upcoming farmers’ Maha Dharna, scheduled for January 28th, which has been granted permission by the High Court. The leaders expressed their gratitude to the court and encouraged a large turnout for the protest to ensure its success.

Kancherla Bhupal Reddy highlighted that the government had initially withheld permission for the protest out of fear, but with the court’s intervention, the event would proceed with renewed enthusiasm.

Nomula Bhagat Kumar added that the government had denied permission to the farmers, claiming fear of KTR, but now that the court had granted approval, they were determined to make the protest a success.

Palle Ravikumar criticized the Congress party for making false promises, which had led to the people losing faith in them. He urged the government to fulfill its promises and do good for the public.

Dudimetla Balraju Yadav condemned the Congress government for misleading the people and accused them of taking credit for development projects that were actually carried out by the current government. He also sharply criticized Congress ministers for inaugurating works that were not their own.

Rajeev Sagar criticized the Congress government for being scared of BRS leaders and for hindering the farmers’ protests. He strongly condemned the violent attack on former MLA Kancherla Bhupal Reddy by Congress goons, despite him being a disabled person, and reiterated that they had filed complaints with the SP and DGP. They would also file a complaint with the Human Rights Commission regarding the incident.

In the press meeting, several prominent leaders and party members, including Nalgonda Market Committee’s former chairman Borra Sudhakar, senior leader Bakka Pichayya, former municipal chairman Vangala Sahadeva Reddy, and others, expressed solidarity with the cause.

The leaders pledged to continue fighting for farmers’ rights and ensure that justice is served for Kancherla Bhupal Reddy and the protesting farmers.
