Applications Invited for Vacancies Under Small Cluster Development Program

Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles, G. Rekha Rani, announced that applications are being invited from eligible candidates for positions under the Small Cluster Development Program, part of the National Handloom Development Scheme in Andhra Pradesh.

The program seeks to fill 10 vacancies, with 5 positions each for Cluster Development Executives and Textile Designers. Applicants will be selected based on qualifications, experience, age, and residency.

Eligibility requirements:

Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in computer operations and knowledge of maintaining records and accounts are essential.

Applicants must possess a degree or diploma from NIFT, NID, or a recognized institution, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in textile designing in the handloom sector. Expertise in improving designs and products within the handloom industry is required.

Candidates are required to submit their applications along with copies of relevant documents and a biodata. The positions are temporary, with a tenure of 3 years or until the end of the cluster implementation period, whichever is earlier. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹30,000.
