Eye Donation Brings Eternal Peace: Dr. Pullarao

“Eye donation after death ensures eternal peace,” said Dr. Pullarao while leading the collection of corneas from the late Mulugu Venkata Reddy at Srinagar Colony in Nalgonda district. Following the family’s consent for eye donation, Dr. Pullarao and his team visited their residence and collected the corneas.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pullarao emphasized the importance of eye donation, urging everyone to pledge their eyes. He explained that corneas must be collected within 6 to 8 hours after death to be effectively utilized.
The event was attended by Chandrasekhar Jani, Lions Club Secretary Nimmala Pitchaiah, Indian Medical Association President Damara Yadayya, Dr. Praveen, Dr. Ramesh, and Syed Hasham. They appreciated the family’s noble gesture of donating eyes and encouraged others to follow their example.
