In alignment with the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the BC Welfare Department is set to implement its schemes effectively and ensure timely delivery to the deserving beneficiaries. State BC and EWS Welfare Minister S. Savitha directed that all units under the BC Corporation must be 100% grounded within the next two months.
Recently, the state government appointed Satyanarayana as the new Secretary for the BC Welfare Department, following the retirement of the previous Secretary, Polla Bhaskar. On Monday, Satyanarayana took charge and paid a courtesy visit to Minister Savitha at the state secretariat.
During the meeting, they discussed the execution of various welfare schemes under the BC Welfare Department. Minister Savitha emphasized the importance of the next two months in ensuring that the schemes reach the intended beneficiaries. She specifically highlighted the need to expedite loans under self-employment schemes and ensure that units are fully grounded. The goal, as set by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, is to develop entrepreneurs in every household. Minister Savitha instructed Secretary Satyanarayana to coordinate with lower-level staff to ensure the 100% grounding of these units under self-employment schemes.
