Strict Action Against Selling or Using Banned Chinese Manja: Siddipet Police Commissioner

Siddipet Police Commissioner Dr. B. Anuradha issued a stern warning against the sale and use of the banned Chinese Manja within the Siddipet Police Commissionerate limits. Speaking to the media, she announced that a special drive is being conducted to prevent its sale and ensure public safety.
Dr. Anuradha highlighted the severe risks associated with Chinese Manja, stating that it poses a threat not only to humans but also to birds, which can suffer fatal injuries when entangled. She emphasized the environmental hazards of nylon and synthetic threads, which can cause long-term damage to ecosystems.
The Commissioner urged the public to be aware of the dangers posed by Chinese Manja and to cooperate with authorities in preventing its use. She reminded citizens that the use, transport, or sale of Chinese Manja has been strictly prohibited in Telangana following the National Green Tribunal’s orders.
Dr. Anuradha appealed to the public to report any violations to the nearest police station or by calling Dial 100, ensuring that appropriate action can be taken against offenders.
