DGP Couple Visits Goddess Kanaka Durga

Andhra Pradesh DGP C.H. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao and his wife visited the sacred Kanaka Durga temple atop Indrakeeladri on Thursday. They were warmly received by Additional Commissioner and temple EO K. Ramachandra Mohan, who facilitated their darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga.
Following the darshan, temple priests blessed the DGP couple with Vedic hymns. The EO presented them with the deity’s sesha vastram (sacred cloth), prasadam, and a portrait of the goddess.
The DGP couple also admired the Bommalu Koluvu (display of dolls) and other artistic exhibits arranged in the temple premises as part of the Sankranti celebrations. Deputy EO M. Ratna Raju was also present during the visit.
