Address Parking Issues in Nirmal Town: Collector Abhilasha Abhinav

Nirmal District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav directed officials to implement measures to resolve parking issues in the town’s market areas. On Friday evening, the Collector held a meeting with municipal and police officials, emphasizing the importance of addressing these concerns to ease public inconvenience.

The Collector instructed that street vendors selling vegetables, fruits, flowers, and other items should operate only in designated areas and refrain from setting up shops on roads, which causes disruptions. Officials were asked to identify high-traffic areas and take steps to alleviate parking problems effectively.

She further directed shopping malls and commercial complexes to establish dedicated parking spaces. Fish markets were also instructed to provide adequate facilities for vendors and customers.

The meeting was attended by Additional Collectors Faizan Ahmed and Kishore Kumar, ASP Upender Reddy, Municipal Commissioner Khamar Ahmed, MEPMA PD Subhash, and other officials and staff from the police and municipal departments.
