Read the Preamble of the Indian Constitution Daily in Educational Institutions

Dharma Samaj Party District President Aggimalla Ganesh Maharaj has urged the Telangana government to mandate the daily reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution as part of the morning prayers in educational institutions. On Wednesday, party leaders sent letters to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as part of a movement to dispatch one lakh postcards from across the state.

Speaking at the district headquarters, Ganesh Maharaj emphasized the importance of the Indian Constitution as the supreme guiding force of the nation. He proposed that on Republic Day, January 26, educational institutions should display the Indian Constitution along with a portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar near the national flag. He also called for the daily recital of the Constitution’s Preamble by students to instill its values in society.

Ganesh Maharaj explained that 3,000 letters from Adilabad district were sent as part of this campaign, appealing to the government to issue a formal order (GO) to ensure the implementation of this practice. He criticized past rulers for misleading the public and keeping the values of the Constitution hidden from the society and demanded immediate action to make these values accessible to all.

He warned that if the government fails to act, a phased protest movement would be launched. The campaign was organized jointly by Dharma Samaj Party and BC, SC, ST Rights JAC.

District leaders, including State Secretary Lakshman, Adilabad in-charge leaders Adellu, Sushma, Venkatesh, Rajeshwar, Santosh, Ganesh, Naveen, Ramesh, Sai, Srinivas, Madhu, and Ramesh, participated in the program.
