“Compromise is the best solution, and disputes and grudges achieve nothing,” stated Ramagundam Police Commissioner M. Srinivas, IPS. In a press release issued today, he urged disputing parties to take advantage of the upcoming National Lok Adalat on December 14, 2024, for swift and amicable resolutions.

Commissioner Srinivas emphasized that Lok Adalat provides an excellent platform for settling disputes quickly with mutual agreement. He encouraged parties involved in cases like criminal compoundable cases, civil disputes, property division cases, family maintenance issues, marital disputes, bank recoveries, telephone recoveries, electricity theft, cheque bounce cases, vehicle accident compensation, chit fund disputes, and other compoundable cases to utilize this opportunity.

Highlighting the significance of compromise, he remarked, “Compromise is a win-win for all parties. Avoid prolonged litigation that wastes time and money by engaging in Lok Adalat.”

The Commissioner instructed police officials, court-duty constables, and police personnel to identify cases suitable for compromise and counsel both parties to reach amicable settlements. He assured that Lok Adalat ensures timely justice for victims and helps reduce the burden of litigation.

He urged the public to make the most of this opportunity provided by the judicial department for swift resolutions and lasting peace.
