Task Force Seizes Vehicle Illegally Transporting Cattle in Komaram Bheem Asifabad
Komaram Bheem Asifabad, December 2:
Acting on the orders of District SP D.V. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, the Task Force officials apprehended a Bolero vehicle illegally transporting cattle from Maharashtra through Komaram Bheem Asifabad district en route to Hyderabad and other districts. Task Force CI Rana Pratap disclosed the details of the operation.
According to CI Rana Pratap, early Monday morning, based on credible information, Task Force officials intercepted a Bolero Max vehicle (TS 12 T 1515) near Wanjiri village. The vehicle was found carrying nine illegally transported cows.
The following individuals were apprehended:
Saddam Sarfuddin Sheikh, driver, resident of Goiyam village, Wankidi Mandal.
Bod Mangesh Narasimha, resident of Surdapur, Chandrapur, Maharashtra.
Azeem Shadul Sheikh, owner of the cattle, resident of Kagaznagar.
Mohammed Riyaz Qureshi, owner of the Bolero vehicle, resident of Hyderabad.
The accused, along with the vehicle and cattle, were handed over to Kagaznagar Rural Police Station, where a case has been registered.
CI Rana Pratap warned that strict criminal cases would be filed against anyone involved in the illegal transportation of cattle or aiding such activities. He urged the public to report such incidents, assuring that informants’ identities would remain confidential.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of CI Rana Pratap, along with SI Venkatesh, PC Ramesh, and Madhu.
