Health Festivals Celebrated Grandly in Nirmal District

Nirmal, December 2:

As part of the Prajapalana - Praja Vijayotsavalu celebrations, a grand Health Festival was organized on Monday at the Government Medical College in Nirmal district. In a virtual ceremony, Telangana Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka inaugurated the new Government Nursing College. Locally, District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Abhilasha expressed her delight at the establishment of the new Government Nursing College in the district. She congratulated the students and encouraged them to work hard to achieve excellence, bringing pride to their families, teachers, and the district. She emphasized the importance of serving underprivileged communities in the future and assured students of support in addressing any challenges they might face. She urged them to utilize the college’s facilities effectively for quality education.

The students thanked the Chief Minister for the establishment of the nursing college, which promises to improve healthcare education in the region.

The event was attended by Government Medical College Principal Dr. Srinivas, Government Nursing College Principal Dr. Shakuntala, Vice Principal Manjula, NMC Nodal Officer Sunil, Tahsildar Raju, Municipal Commissioner Khumar Ahmad, Panchayat Raj Executive Engineer Ashok Kumar, nursing students, and various officials and staff members.
