Mudhol, December 4:The BJP’s Constituency Convener Rajesh Babu criticized the Congress government for deceiving the public with false promises and failing to fulfill their election assurances even after a year in power. Speaking at a charge sheet program against the Congress government held in Mudhol on Wednesday, Rajesh Babu, along with BJP leaders Narsa Goud and Mohan Reddy, urged the people to hold Congress accountable in the upcoming local body elections.

Releasing the charge sheet, they alleged that only 48% of the promised loan waivers were completed, demanding full implementation. They questioned the Congress about the status of the Rs. 4,000 pensions and the Rs. 2,000 Mahalakshmi scheme for women, which were election promises yet to be fulfilled.

Rajesh Babu accused former MLA Vithal Reddy of misleading people with false claims during his decade-long tenure and failing to bring about any significant development in the Mudhol constituency. He noted that issues such as the construction of a hospital building and the establishment of a market yard in Mudhol remained unresolved.

He further criticized the Congress for taking credit for the Rs. 20 crore allocated by the central government for CC roads in the constituency. He added that presenting central funds as their own was misleading.

Rajesh Babu urged a massive turnout at the BJP’s upcoming public rally in Bhainsa, where senior leaders and supporters are expected to gather in large numbers to voice their concerns against the Congress government.

BJP leaders Mohan Reddy and others also participated in the event, reiterating their commitment to exposing Congress’s failures and working for the development of the constituency.
