In connection with the brutal murder of document writer Md. Rasheed from Nukalamarri village, Vemulawada Rural Mandal, on December 18, Vemulawada police arrested Nune Manohar of Sai Nagar. The accused was taken into custody, and the weapon used in the crime, a knife, a bike, a mobile phone, and a passport, were seized, according to Vemulawada ASP Seshadri Ni Reddy.
During a press conference held at the Vemulawada Town Police Station on Saturday, ASP Seshadri Ni Reddy explained that the accused, Manohar, had returned to India 45 days ago from abroad, suspecting his wife of having an extramarital affair with Rasheed.
