Jawan from Andhra Pradesh Killed in Terrorist Attack

Andhra Pradesh lost a brave son as Karthik, a soldier hailing from Eguraagi Manupenta village in Bangarupalem Mandal, Chittoor district, succumbed to injuries sustained in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The 29-year-old soldier was critically injured in an exchange of fire with terrorists and passed away in the early hours of Tuesday while undergoing treatment.
Karthik, the younger son of Varadarajulu and Selvi, joined the Indian Army in 2017 after completing his degree. He had recently visited his family for Sankranti, spending a week with his loved ones and friends before returning to duty, promising to come back in May.
The news of his untimely demise has left his family and the village in deep mourning. Karthik’s valor and sacrifice will forever remain a source of pride for his family and the nation. His tragic passing has cast a pall of sorrow over the entire community.
