Grand Celebrations of Savitribai Phule Teachers’ Day

Vemulawada, January 3:
In line with the Telangana state government’s orders, the Primary School in Balarajupalli, Vemulawada Rural Mandal, celebrated the birth anniversary of India’s first woman teacher and social reformer, Savitribai Phule, with great enthusiasm on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, school teacher Ram Gopal highlighted Savitribai Phule’s pioneering efforts for girls’ education, social equality, and the eradication of untouchability and superstitions. He described her as a torchbearer for women’s rights and marginalized communities.
During the celebrations, the school honored female teachers Latika and Anita for their dedicated service. The event was attended by the school’s headmaster, Rajesh, teachers Madhukar, and others, who paid tribute to Savitribai Phule’s inspiring legacy.
