Farmers’ Leaders Submit Memorandum to Tirupati MP Maddela Gurumoorthy

As part of the nationwide call by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) in support of the ongoing farmers’ protest in Delhi and in solidarity with farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on a hunger strike for 57 days, farmers’ leaders submitted a memorandum to Tirupati MP Maddela Gurumoorthy on Monday.
During their meeting at the MP’s office, the farmers urged the central government, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers, to engage in discussions with SKM leaders and address the pressing demands of the farmers.
The delegation included All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS) district leaders Paturi Venkata Ratnam, district president Ramishetti Venkayya, Congress farmers’ leader Mangati Gopal Reddy, AIKS state vice president P. Hemalatha, and representatives from CPI-affiliated farmers’ unions Chalapathi and Padmanabha Reddy.
The leaders emphasized the need for immediate action to resolve the farmers’ issues and pledged their continued support to the SKM movement.
