BMS Construction Workers’ Rally to Siddipet: Pamphlet Released in Jagtial

Under the leadership of Suthari and Building Construction Workers’ Union President Mulasapu Rajanna, a pamphlet was released at the union office in Jagtial, urging construction workers to participate in the state convention scheduled on January 29 in Siddipet.
Speaking on the occasion, BMS National Executive Member Sudheer Kumar and BMS District Secretary Yedulapuram Satyanarayana emphasized the need for the Telangana government to provide pensions to construction workers above 50 years of age, similar to benefits extended to toddy tappers. They also appealed to the government to ensure applications are processed promptly, enabling workers to receive funds within a month. Additionally, scholarships for workers’ children and measures to prevent the misuse of worker cards through brokers and officials were requested.
The event was attended by General Secretary Dayyala Rajesh, Treasurer Goli Gangaram, and other key leaders, including Thumu Bheemayya, Bharath Seenu, Gangam Lachanna, Jillella Prabhakar, Jillella Ravi, Kosari Rajan, Mamidi Rajam, Bandari Narasayya, Goli Ravi, and Bharathapu Ramesh. Numerous construction workers and union members actively participated in the program.
