Budugula Lingayya Yadav stressed that BRS has always prioritized the welfare of the poor and farmers. He criticized the Congress government for making false promises and demanded that it fulfill its election assurances. He reiterated the party’s commitment to fighting for farmers’ rights and said the protest is intended to hold the government accountable for its failures.
Kancharla Ramakrishna Reddy urged farmers affected by issues like loan waivers and missing Rythu Bharosa benefits to join the protest. He criticized the government for resorting to harassment and filing cases against those who question its policies. He emphasized the need for unity among farmers and citizens, urging them to set aside political differences and join hands to make the protest a success.
The press meet also witnessed the participation of various leaders, including former chairpersons, municipal officials, and party cadre. Leaders such as Katikam Sattayya Goud, Borra Sudhakar, Niranjan Vali, and Mandadi Saidireddy voiced their support for the Maha Dharna, emphasizing the importance of addressing farmer grievances and demanding transparent governance.
