Three-Day Jail Term for Drunk Driver

Nizamabad: A total of 31 individuals caught driving under the influence of alcohol were counseled by Traffic Inspector P. Prasad on Wednesday before being presented in the Second-Class Magistrate’s Court. Magistrate Noor Jahan Begum imposed a collective fine of ₹59,200 on 30 offenders.
However, one individual, Koyalkar Srinivas, son of Shankar and a resident of Armoor, was sentenced to three days of imprisonment for his offense. Authorities emphasized the need for responsible driving to ensure public safety and warned of strict actions against violators.
