Students Should Prioritize Both Education and Sports: Additional Collector Faizan Ahmed

Additional Collector of Local Bodies, Faizan Ahmed, emphasized the importance of giving equal priority to education and sports during the closing ceremony of the CM Cup competitions held on Thursday evening at the NTR Mini Stadium in Nirmal.

The competitions, which commenced on December 16, concluded with outstanding performers being awarded medals and trophies. Speaking at the event, the Additional Collector highlighted that participation in sports is as significant as winning. He encouraged students to integrate sports into their daily lives, stating that sports not only provide physical and mental relaxation but also enhance personal development. He added that sports certificates hold significant value in future job recruitments.

The event was attended by District Youth Sports Officer Srikanth Reddy, ACEG Padma, District Olympics Convener Sridhar Reddy, District Athletics Association Secretary Shyamul, SGF Ravinder Goud, teachers, physical education instructors, students, and other officials.
