Rice Millers Directed to Expedite CMR Process

Additional Collector (Revenue) Kishore Kumar has directed rice millers to expedite the Custom Milling Rice (CMR) process. On Monday, he held a review meeting with civil supply officials and rice millers at the Collectorate meeting hall regarding the progress of CMR supply.
During the meeting, the Additional Collector emphasized the need for all millers to accelerate the supply of CMR and warned of strict action against those who show negligence. He reviewed the targets set for CMR supply, the progress achieved, the paddy stock in mills, and the details of lorries transporting rice daily.
Kishore Kumar instructed the revenue and civil supply officials to conduct field inspections of mills to assess the status of CMR processing, stock capacity, unloading, and daily operations. He also directed them to submit daily reports on the progress.
The meeting was attended by DSO Kiran Kumar, DM Civil Supplies Venugopal, revenue and civil supply officials, and rice millers.
