December 11

Mulugu: Minister for Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, and Women & Child Welfare, Danasari Anasuya Seethakka emphasized the importance of imparting education through innovative methods to shape students into exemplary citizens. Speaking at the inauguration of a teacher training program organized jointly by Qualcomm and Transform Schools, the Minister stated that education is the greatest gift one can give.

The training program aims to equip teachers with modern techniques for teaching English, Mathematics, and Science to 9th and 10th-grade students. The event also included the release of textbooks for the program, which is being implemented for the first time in Telangana. Minister Seethakka praised the efforts of District Collector Divakar T.S. and acknowledged the success of similar programs in other states.

The Minister highlighted the need for collaborative efforts with voluntary organizations to enhance educational standards in rural areas. “Government funds alone are not sufficient; voluntary organizations can play a crucial role in driving development,” she remarked. She urged teachers to treat students as their own children and dedicate extra time daily to their progress, ensuring they become responsible citizens.

District Collector Divakar T.S. noted that strengthening education in the agency areas of Mulugu is a priority and appreciated the involvement of organizations in improving teaching methods. The training sessions, held over three days, will focus on 20 schools across Bandaru Palli, Madanapalli, and Jawahar Nagar in Venkatapur Mandal.

The event saw participation from ITDA PO Chitra Mishra, Principal Engineer of Qualcomm Sudhir Kumar, program directors, and local dignitaries. Teachers, headmasters, and officials expressed optimism about the program’s impact on enhancing educational standards in the region.
