District SP Ghosh Alam IPS urged all litigants to make the most of the National Lok Adalat scheduled for December 14. In a statement issued from the district headquarters, he emphasized that the Lok Adalat, being held across all court premises nationwide, offers a golden opportunity to resolve long-pending cases swiftly and amicably

He highlighted that through Lok Adalat, cases eligible for legal settlement, such as criminal cases, civil disputes, property disputes, family issues, marital conflicts, bank-related cases, insurance disputes, cheque bounce cases, motor accident claims, and chits-related cases, can be resolved. The settlement helps litigants save time, money, and effort, bringing about immediate relief.

SP Ghosh Alam called on people not to waste time going around courts for minor cases but to take advantage of this unique opportunity provided by the judiciary. He announced that special teams would be deployed in every police station to assist individuals willing to settle their disputes in Lok Adalat.

Litigants can approach the police station staff for guidance, who will assist them in reaching the judiciary for a resolution. He further added that Lok Adalat provides an avenue for speedy justice and relief, and he urged everyone to participate and benefit from this initiative.
