“Most Complex Heart Surgery Successfully Performed at Medicover Hospital Nizamabad"

A 60-year-old man named Gangaram from Bezzora village, Bhingal mandal, Nizamabad district, underwent one of the most complex heart surgeries at Medicover Hospital. Gangaram, who had previously undergone open-heart and bypass surgery 16 years ago, visited the hospital on December 6th with severe chest pain and a sore throat.

Dr. Ravi Kiran, an interventional cardiologist, conducted an angiogram and identified complications in the previous surgery. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Dr. Avin Saner, a Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, informed the patient and his relatives about the risks associated with reoperation. With their consent, the surgery was successfully performed.

Dr. Avin Saner stated that the patient recovered well and was discharged on the 6th day post-surgery. Dr. Vanu from the Anaesthesia department emphasized that this was the first time such a high-risk operation was performed in Nizamabad district, showcasing the hospital’s expertise.

Medicover Hospital’s Head of Center, Swamy, highlighted that the hospital performs 15 to 20 open-heart surgeries monthly, reinforcing their commitment to advanced cardiac care. Dr. Yajna, DMS, and Marketing Head Vinay Kumar also participated in the meeting, appreciating the team’s efforts in this groundbreaking procedure.
