Government Whip Adluri Laxman Kumar lauded the significance of martial arts in building self-confidence and ensuring self-defense during the belt distribution ceremony of Dragon Sword Kung-Poo Academy in Dharmapuri. The event saw 150 students receiving belts for their achievements in kung-poo.

Speaking at the ceremony, Laxman Kumar emphasized the importance of martial arts training, especially for youth, as a means to promote health and resilience. He appreciated the state government’s initiative of offering free martial arts training for girls in government schools, empowering them to defend themselves and boost their self-esteem.

The event was graced by Congress Party Municipal Floor Leader Vemula Nagalakshmi, Dragon Sword Kung-Poo Academy Founder Rajamallu, President Rajender, General Secretary Kasturi Praveen, Organizer Chandraya, Lingampally Ramesh, Mandal Congress Party President Dinesh, Vice President Rajesh, and senior party leader Chilumula Laxman.
