Kagaznagar Chosen Under Amrut 2.0: MLA Palvai Harish Babu

In a significant development, Kagaznagar Municipality has been selected under the Central Government’s Amrut 2.0 scheme. The initiative aims to promote urban development and infrastructure enhancement in selected municipalities.
A digital mapping project, initiated by Survey of India officials using drones, was launched today at the Welfare Center Ground in Sir Silk, Kagaznagar. The event witnessed the participation of District Collector Sri Venkatesh Dothre, Sirpur MLA Dr. Palvai Harish Babu, Additional Collector Deepak Tiwari, Kagaznagar Sub-Collector Kumari Shraddha Shukla, Municipal Commissioner Anjayya, and municipal councillors.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr. Palvai Harish Babu expressed his delight over Kagaznagar Municipality’s selection under the Amrut 2.0 scheme. He highlighted that the digital map prepared by Survey of India officials will facilitate the creation of a master plan, enabling the municipality to secure funds from the Central Government for urban development.
Dr. Harish Babu stated that the initiative would pave the way for the comprehensive development of Kagaznagar town, ensuring a brighter future for its residents.
