Johar to Comrade Manka Devanna,CPI (ML) New Democracy Pays Tribute

CPI (ML) New Democracy District Secretary J. Raju called for the realization of Comrade Manka Devanna’s revolutionary ideals through strengthened struggles. The death anniversary of Comrade Manka Devanna, a senior district leader of CPI (ML) New Democracy and the All India Kisan Mazdoor Sangh (AIKMS), was observed on Tuesday in Ellapur, Khanapur Mandal, under the chairmanship of Sunarikari Rajesh, the CPI (ML) New Democracy Khanapur Division Secretary.

Addressing the gathering, J. Raju praised the sacrifices of numerous leaders and activists who gave their lives for land, justice, and liberation. He emphasized that the revolutionary struggles had redistributed thousands of acres to the poor, ending exploitation and oppression. Comrade Manka Devanna led numerous land struggles in the Khanapur area, redistributing thousands of acres to the needy and enduring imprisonment for his activism. Raju urged people to draw inspiration from Devanna’s legacy and intensify revolutionary efforts to achieve a just society.

Raju also criticized the current fascist governance in the country, which he said continues to erode people’s rights. He called for united efforts to resist oppression and protect the fundamental rights of the oppressed masses.

The event saw the participation of CPI (ML) New Democracy District Committee members M. Haritha, Venkatanarayana, and leaders Gopi Narsayya, Sardar, Srinivas, Linganna, Rajesh, Gajanna, Prasad, and Swami. All attendees reaffirmed their commitment to the ideals and vision of Comrade Manka Devanna.
