Grand Boxing Day Celebrations Held in Kagaznagar

The Boxing Day celebrations were held with grandeur on Thursday at the Sir Silk F Colony in Kagaznagar, organized by the Muthu Memorial Boxing Club. Kagaznagar Town CI P. Rajendra Prasad attended the event as the chief guest and presented awards and prizes to boxers who recently excelled in boxing competitions.
Speaking on the occasion, CI Rajendra Prasad emphasized that learning boxing not only enhances physical fitness but also boosts self-confidence, resilience, and mental strength. He encouraged the youth to pursue sports like boxing for their holistic development and well-being.
The event also saw the CI being felicitated with a shawl by the Muthu Boxing Club President, Vemurla Madhu, and its members, as a mark of appreciation for his presence and support.
Prominent attendees included Komaram Bheem Asifabad District Boxing Association Chairman Shivkumar Nair, General Secretary Madhurai Sekhar Master, Treasurer Ramakant Yadav, Vice President Jayender, Professor Miss Valentina, Zakir, Councillor Lalit, athlete Jibbi Bai, and Chetti Venkatesh, among others. The celebrations highlighted the importance of sports in fostering discipline and community spirit.
