Governor to Grace State-Level National Voters’ Day in Vijayawada on January 25

The state-level National Voters’ Day celebrations, organized under the Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh, will take place on January 25 at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram, Vijayawada. Governor Abdul Nazeer will preside as the Chief Guest, announced NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmi Sha.

During a review meeting with officials on Tuesday at the Pingali Venkayya Conference Hall, the Collector stressed the need for seamless arrangements to ensure the event’s success. Senior IAS and IPS officers from across the state are set to attend.

Special voter registration counters will be established at the venue to facilitate Form 6A, 6B, 7, and 8 applications. New voters will receive EPIC cards from the Governor.

The meeting was attended by District Revenue Officer Lakshmi Narasimham, Vijayawada RDO Kavuri Chaitanya, Assistant Secretary of the State Election Office Anjaneyulu, Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Chandrasekhar, SO Kondareddy, DRDA PD K. Srinivasa Rao, DMHO Dr. M. Suhasini, Youth Welfare Officer U. Srinivas Rao, DIPRO U. Surendranath, Forest Settlement Officer A. Ravindra Rao, DEO U.V. Subba Rao, and Tahsildars B. Suguna, R.V. Rohinidevi, Suryarao, Venkataramaiah, and Venkateswarlu.

The Collector urged all departments to coordinate efficiently to ensure the program’s success.
