Utnur: The Telangana government is providing 200 units of free electricity to underprivileged families living in remote villages and urban areas, said Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju Patel. On Tuesday, the MLA performed a bhoomi puja to inaugurate the construction of a CC road and drainage systems at an estimated cost of ₹25 lakhs in Neelagondi village under Chanduri Gram Panchayat of Utnur Mandal.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA emphasized that the government is consistently working towards the upliftment of the poor and focusing on the holistic development of villages. He assured that every eligible poor family would receive an Indiramma House. Providing basic infrastructure in villages is the government’s top priority, he stated.

He expressed his deep bond with the people of Neelagondi, recalling how they stood by him during his tough times. “I owe a debt of gratitude to the people of this region, and I will always remain committed to their welfare,” he added.

The program was attended by government officials, Congress party leaders, and other dignitaries.
