A fire broke out at the Tirumala laddu counter, a location usually bustling with devotees collecting prasadam, causing panic among the devotees present. The incident occurred at Counter No. 47 due to a short circuit in the UPS connected to the computer system.
The sudden flames led to chaos as devotees ran in fear. On receiving the information, staff quickly arrived at the scene and worked to bring the fire under control. While no injuries were reported, the incident raised concerns about safety measures at one of the busiest spots in the temple premises.
Officials assured devotees that necessary steps would be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
