Slate Schools inaugurated an inspiring Model United Nations (MUN) conference on 28th December, showcasing the power of education in shaping global leaders. With over 80 participants deliberating in committees such as Lok Sabha, UNHRC, and ECOSOC, the event aimed to nurture critical thinking, diplomacy, and collaborative problem-solving among students.
Chief Guest Porapally Sunder, a renowned advocate and Lions Day representative at the United Nations, delivered a stirring speech emphasizing the importance of empowering youth to think globally and act locally. His presence added prestige to the occasion, inspiring young delegates to embrace global citizenship.
The conference featured eminent chairs, including Shreyas Reddy (Founder, Revence Foundation) for Lok Sabha, Suprith Reddy (Founder, TeachUp) for UNHRC, and Vallabh Reddy (Founder, CloxAlpha) for ECOSOC. Their expertise guided participants in tackling real-world issues with innovative solutions.
Slate Schools’ Chairman Aenugu Srikanth Reddy, Principal Shirin Khan, and Principal Shyam Lal played pivotal roles in fostering this initiative, underscoring the institution’s commitment to holistic education.
