DMHO Conducts Surprise Inspections of Scanning Centers

Dr. S. Rajita, District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) of Rajanna Sircilla, along with Dr. Anja Leena Alfred, conducted surprise inspections of scanning centers in Vemulawada on Tuesday. During the inspections, the officials reviewed Form F audit forms, records, and compliance with legal requirements.
The DMHO instructed the scanning center operators to ensure their registration certificates are up-to-date and to list the names of radiologists on their certificates. She emphasized that all centers must strictly adhere to the established regulations.
Dr. Rajita issued a stern warning against gender determination practices, stating that centers found violating the law would face closure, a fine of ₹10,000, and imprisonment of up to three years.
The inspection team included Demo Rajkumar, H.E. Balayya, C.H.O. Balachandram, and others.
