District Collector Rajarshi Shah Inaugurates District-Level CM Cup 2024 Sports

The district-level CM Cup 2024 sports competition was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by District Collector Rajarshi Shah at the Indira Priyadarshini Stadium in Adilabad on Monday. Addressing the gathering, the Collector praised the students who advanced from village and mandal-level competitions to participate in the district-level games.

He encouraged participants to aim for victory in the district-level competitions and strive to excel at the state-level CM Cup games, scheduled from December 27, 2024, to January 2, 2025. Shah motivated the students to bring laurels to the district by emerging as winners in the state-level contests.

The district-level CM Cup 2024 will feature six days of sporting events, from December 16 to December 21, including Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Chess, Boxing, Swimming, and other sports. As part of the inauguration, the Collector tossed the coin to officially start the games and extended his best wishes to all participants.

Notable attendees at the event included DYSO Venkateshwarulu, Sports Authority Officer Parthasarathi, Olympic Association President Govardhan Reddy, and Bandaru Devanna, among others.
