Focus on Better Facilities for Welfare Hostel Students: Koteshwara Rao

Welfare hostel authorities must ensure improved facilities, hygienic surroundings, and nutritious meals for students residing in government welfare hostels, stated Koteshwara Rao, the In-Charge of the District Industries Development and Scheduled Castes Development Departments.

On the occasion of New Year, welfare hostel officials from Nalgonda District met Koteshwara Rao to extend their greetings. During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of addressing the needs of underprivileged students living in welfare hostels. He urged the officials to pay special attention to the students’ education and to ensure they face no difficulties during their stay.

Koteshwara Rao noted that the government has increased budget allocations for hostel operations, including diet charges and cosmetic charges, and instructed officials to utilize these resources efficiently to benefit the students.

The event was attended by Nalgonda District HWO Union President Ranadive, Secretary Satyanarayana, Devarakonda ASWO Karuna Sri, Ramya Sudha, Runadevi, Lingayya, and Nagaraju, who pledged to work towards the well-being of hostel students.
