Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas assured that Indiramma houses would be distributed to all eligible beneficiaries. Speaking on Saturday at the Bhoomi Pooja ceremony for the construction of the Indiramma Model Houses at the Mandal Parishad Office premises in Vemulawada, organized under the Housing Department, he highlighted the Telangana government’s commitment to the scheme.

MLA Aadi Srinivas announced that the distribution of houses under the Indiramma Model Housing Scheme, along with the implementation of Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, and ration card issuance, will commence on January 26. Across the state, 3,500 houses will be allotted per constituency, with 4,696 houses specially sanctioned for flood-affected villages in Vemulawada constituency. The MLA assured a transparent selection process, reviewing applications filed during the Praja Palana period from January 21 to 24.

Aadi Srinivas further stated that Rs. 12,000 will be provided to farmers under Rythu Bharosa without any conditions, a benefit unparalleled in the country. Similarly, landless laborers will also receive Rs. 12,000. He emphasized that Indiramma Houses are designed specifically to provide housing for the poor, urging officials to conduct surveys and village-level meetings with patience and transparency.

He credited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar for initiatives such as caste enumeration, highlighting the government’s focus on the welfare of marginalized communities. The MLA assured that he would participate in the upcoming village and ward meetings, urging the swift construction of the model house as an example for the region.

The event witnessed participation from District Agriculture Officer Afzali Begum, Municipal Vice Chairman Bingi Mahesh, Market Committee Chairman Rondi Raju, Housing Department District Officer Chennayya, Municipal Commissioner Anvesh, Mandal Revenue Officer Mahesh, MPDO N. Malhotra, Housing DEEs Bhaskar and Muzaffar, and others.
