“Stop Mud-Slinging Politics”: MLA Payal Shankar

Adilabad MLA Payal Shankar condemned Kandhi Srinivas Reddy for resorting to mud-slinging politics, accusing him of spreading baseless allegations out of frustration over Shankar’s growing public support.

Shankar dismissed claims of land encroachments and illegal wealth, stating, “I only have my house in Adilabad. Hard-earned property is not a crime.” He emphasized his commitment to BC welfare and questioned why his collaboration with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Seethakka for Adilabad’s development is being politicized.

Shankar criticized efforts to tarnish his image, adding, “The people rejected such propaganda in elections. Dignity in politics is essential.” He also defended his transparency about assets and challenged anyone to investigate allegations against him.

Concluding, Shankar warned his opponents to refrain from defamatory tactics and focus on genuine public service. Party leaders and supporters, including Brahmanandam and Ratnakar Reddy, attended the event, expressing solidarity with Shankar.
