Crackdown on Illicit Liquor Units

Police and Excise Department officials conducted joint raids on illicit liquor manufacturing units in Nennela Mandal on Tuesday. The raids targeted locations in Chinna Lambadi Tanda, Pedda Lambadi Tanda, Narvaipet, Chinna Venkatapur, and Kothur villages.
During the operation, authorities seized 800 liters of jaggery wash and 4 liters of illicit liquor (gudumba). A case has been registered against the individual involved, and further investigations are underway.
The raids were led by District Task Force CI Lakshman and SI Prasad, who emphasized their commitment to curbing illicit liquor production in the area.
