Congress Deceived Farmers, Now Facing Backlash: Jagadish Reddy

Former Minister and Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy, addressing a press meet in Nalgonda, criticized Congress leaders for their deceptive tactics and failures in addressing farmers’ issues.

Jagadish Reddy accused Congress leaders of blackmailing farmers by claiming that Rythu Bharosa is denied because farmers are not cultivating crops. He alleged that Congress has betrayed farmers by failing to deliver on loan waivers, bonuses, and other promises. “They created confusion over paddy procurement, presented false figures, and deceived agricultural laborers,” he said.

Highlighting the transparency of recent Gram Sabhas, he stated, “The government’s inefficiency has been exposed, with most applications being discarded. The awakening of people in Gram Sabhas has led to protests in villages, with citizens standing up against Congress’s diversion politics.”

Jagadish Reddy condemned the alleged attack on Bhupal Reddy in Nalgonda, calling it a “heinous act” orchestrated by Congress leaders. He accused the ruling Congress of obstructing KTR’s rallies, stating, “They fear even hearing KTR’s name.” He further alleged that some police officials are acting as Congress workers, warning, “This approach will not end well for them.”

Referring to Congress’s failures, Jagadish Reddy claimed, “Nalgonda’s development stalled under Congress rule. In contrast, TRS has developed the district with an investment of ₹1,500 crore. From eradicating fluorosis to transforming Nalgonda into a prosperous district, the TRS has delivered tangible results.”

Jagadish Reddy challenged Congress leaders to debate the development achieved under TRS. “Let’s visit every village and compare progress. The pink flags of TRS symbolize growth, while Congress leaders cannot escape the rebellion brewing against them,” he said.

He concluded by issuing a stern warning to Congress, stating, “Beware, Congress leaders. If you cross the line, you will have to pay the price. The people are watching, and the backlash will be severe.”
