SUDA Chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy inaugurated the new menu at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Residential School for Girls in Karimnagar on Thursday. Speaking at the event, Narender Reddy highlighted that for the past eight years, the previous government neglected to increase diet and cosmetic charges for students in welfare hostels. He credited the current Congress government for implementing a 40% hike in these charges to ensure better nutritional food and essential items for students.
Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the government’s commitment to providing quality facilities in gurukulas and welfare hostels across the state. “The Congress government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, is ensuring holistic development for students, including improved amenities and opportunities for sports and education,” he stated.
Narender Reddy also appreciated the cultural performances by the students and called on officials to maintain hygiene and ensure that meals are served as per the new common menu. He expressed pride in parents who visited the hostels, experienced the facilities, and expressed gratitude to the government.
“The government’s efforts in enhancing facilities and supporting teachers’ recruitment demonstrate its dedication to the future of our students,” he said. Encouraging students to excel not just in academics but also in sports, he expressed hope that they would fulfill their parents’ dreams and bring glory to the nation on the global stage.
The program concluded with Narender Reddy thanking the government on behalf of the students for the significant strides in improving the welfare and education of students in residential schools.
