Youth For Anti-Corruption (YAC) Marks International Anti-Corruption Day with Awareness Walk

Youth For Anti-Corruption (YAC), an NGO with over 14 years of dedicated advocacy against corruption, organized an impactful awareness walk at KBR Park, Hyderabad, to commemorate International Anti-Corruption Day. The event, held on December 9, 2024, brought together youth activists, citizens, and leaders to promote transparency, integrity, and accountability in society.

Inaugurated by former Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Mishra, former MLA Bakkani Narsimhulu, and YAC Founder Rajendra Palnati, the walk emphasized the importance of educating citizens about their rights and fostering active resistance against corruption. Ajay Mishra highlighted the critical role of youth in combating corruption, stating, “Eradicating corruption ensures a fair and joyful life for all. It’s vital for the younger generation to question the status quo and demand transparency.”

Former MLA Bakkani Narsimhulu lauded YAC’s efforts, remarking, “Movements driven by good ideas spark meaningful change. Youth-led initiatives like this rally inspire communities to fight corruption and strive for a better society.”

The event witnessed spirited participation from YAC members, including Konne Devendar, Komati Ramesh Babu, G. Hariprakash, and Pashiganti Vamsikrishna, alongside NCC and NSS students who chanted slogans like “End corruption, that’s our stance!” The walk resonated with a strong call to action for integrity and justice.

YAC continues to lead efforts in engaging youth and communities in meaningful dialogue against corruption, fostering a transparent and accountable society for future generations.
