Young Chess Players Honored by GM Srinivas, Selected for State-Level Competitions

Komaram Bheem District

December 19: Golleti village students Avinash (son of Hero Lal, Electrical Supervisor at Khairaguda Open Cast) and M. Bhuvana Rushi (son of M. Satyanarayana, EP Operator at Khairaguda Open Cast) have been selected to represent Komaram Bheem District in the Chief Minister’s Cup State-Level Chess Competitions.

During a felicitation ceremony, Bellampalli Area General Manager M. Srinivas congratulated the students and encouraged them to excel at the state level. He expressed confidence in their abilities to perform well and bring recognition to the district.

The event was attended by Komaram Bheem Chess Association President S. Sampath Kumar, District Vice-President Boge Upender, Khairaguda PO Narender, Personal Manager Reddy Malla Tirupati, Singareni School PET Bhaskar, and Badminton Association Secretary Marini Venkateshwarlu, along with other dignitaries.

The General Manager emphasized the importance of chess in fostering critical thinking and wished the young talents success in their future endeavors.
